Authentic & Excellent Japanese food at Adyar chennai, must try if you guys love Japanese food, they have variety of fresh salads, sushi’s, udon and Katsu curry with rice, all the dessert were superb. They also have a karaoke room, that could be booked in advance.

Quite an authentic Japanese fare. Out of the dishes we tried the Ebi Maki (Prawn Sushi), Beef Katsu Curry Rice and Macha Pudding are something to write home about! Rest like the Tori Karaage (Chicken Wings) tasted like desi. Overall the dishes were well platted and portions quite sufficient. The service can be improved. Had to wait few times to catch someone’s eye for refills etc. Ambience is nothing great. Parking is also limited - read 3 cars at the maximum. Overall would give it a try if on the way, not worth a detour.

Nice cool ambience with traditional Japanese art service rooms. Food is good, being first time to taste Japanese menu, not disappointed. Price is bit on higher side. On my next trip today I tried two new dishes Miso shiru soup and tempura udon noodles with assorted fry consists of prawn and veg fries. Huge qty couldn't finish, worth trying.

Amazing restaurant in Chennai. Once again proving that Chennai does have better Japanese restaurants than other metro cities. The service was exemplary - the staff were kind and accommodating of our toddler. The food was served quick. Delicious and hit the spot with every taste. Would highly recommend visiting Oyama !

The food was authentic Japanese and they have ample options for vegetarians. Very courteous service and a nice ambience. Parking is hassle free, with plenty of space in the road where this restaurant is located.

Very delicious and fresh Japanese food! One of the best Sushi in Velachery, fresh hotate, decent tuna, sushi set, good Mochi Ice cream, good curry rice, decent ramen but unique Indian noodles for replacement of the ramen noodles. Clean shop with decent service.
